LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- A song written and performed by LL Cool J and inspired by his role on "NCIS: Los Angeles" is available on iTunes, CBS said Friday.

"NCIS: No Crew is Superior" was a collaboration between the rapper-actor and Grammy Award-winning producer C. "Tricky" Stewart.

Recorded for LL Cool J's Boomdizzle label, the song will underscore CBS's upcoming on-air promotional campaign and extensive radio and online outreach for the premiere of "NCIS: Los Angeles," the network said.

The song's music video, which is to be released next week, includes recording session footage and clips from the television drama, CBS said.
