CBOT futures lower Monday     (Business News)

CHICAGO, July 26 (UPI) -- Grain prices were lower on the Chicago Board of Trade Monday with a U.S. Department of Agriculture report putting crop conditions as mostly unchanged this week.

Corn was off 5 1/4 to off 7 1/4, soybeans were off 15 1/4 to off 18 3/4, wheat was off 3 to off 6 3/4 and oats were off 2 1/2 to off 3 3/4.

September corn prices fell with the USDA pegging 72 percent of the crop in good to excellent shape, unchanged in the week. Wheat prices fell with exports this week down compared to the previous week. Soybeans futures were supported by a weaker dollar, but pressured by favorable weather patterns.

The prices:

Corn: Sep 3.64, off 7 1/4; Dec 3.78, off 6 1/2; Mar 3.91 3/4, off 6; May 4.00 3/4, off 5 1/4.

Soybeans: Aug 9.98 1/4, off 18 3/4; Sep 9.74 3/4, off 16 1/4; Nov 9.66, off 15 1/2; Jan 9.74 1/2, off 15 1/4.

Wheat: Sep 5.89 1/2, off 6 3/4; Dec 6.21, off 6 1/4; Mar 6.47 1/2, off 4; May 6.56, off 3.

Oats: Sep 2.51, off 3 3/4; Dec 2.62 1/4, off 2 1/2; Mar 2.69 1/4, off 2 1/2; May 2.76 1/4, off 2 1/2.
