July 28--The PGA Tour confirmed today that defending champion Tiger Woods has committed to World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club.
The tournament runs next week.
Woods has won seven times at Firestone and could tie Sam Snead's record of eight victories in the same event.
Officials also announced that Anthony Kim, who has been sidelined the past three months following thumb surgery, will play next week at Firestone.
