WASHINGTON, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- U.S. President Obama meets with senior advisers and Cabinet members Tuesday at the White House, the administration said.

In the afternoon, the president will meet with members of the Technology CEO Council to discuss competitiveness, education and innovation, as well as the need for strategic investments to create jobs and grow the economy, the daily agenda indicated.

Obama and Vice President Joe Biden also will receive the daily briefings and will meet later in the day with Secretary of State Robert Gates.
